What is Go Organic! Philippines
Go Organic! Philippines is a group of NGOs, farmers organizations, local government units and sustainable agriculture advocates working together to promote organic farming as way of life to ensure better health, food security, balanced environment, and increased income for Filipino farmers.
Go Organic! Philippines asserts that sustainable responses are needed to food self-sufficiency problems and agriculture development challenges facing the country. It strongly advocates for the urgent need to shift to organic farming systems to combat the rising prices of commodities and farm inputs, shortage in the supply of food and rapidly deteriorating environment.

Hi,
I am very gratified and joyous to see and read about the Go Organic! programs and the people supporting organic farming in the Philippines. I live in Canada, but I am moving to the Philippines soon, (early 2011) and would like to become involved with assisting and promoting and supporting Organic Farming in the Philippines. I might even become an organic farmer myself. If you need some support financially, I may be able to help out in some way also. I will contact you when I am in the Philippines to see what part I will be able to play in assisting the Glorious and Beautiful (!!) organic farming movement in the Philippines!
